Racism

Poor and unsucessful whites lash out on minorities because they are bitter and angry and insecure. They cling onto their 'whiteness' because it's the only thing they have that is considered to be worth anything. They deeply feel insecure and bitter because they failed to be sucessful while others that have it worse such as blacks, hispanics, etc. have more odds stacked against them yet manage to overcome them. This makes them minimize the struggles of minorities in their mind so they feel less like failures.

What these people fail to understand is that our environment, genes, etc. influence and make us who we are. No one really earns or is responsible for their place in society, they just happened to get lucky with good genes, good upbringing, and good luck. The defense some whites are using is claiming that black people have more oppurtunities than they do because of Affirmative Action, etc. This is an attempt to make the white person explain away their own failure to amount to anything important, because they can claim that blacks or Mexicans stole they chance. This of course is absurd and untrue, but they don't want to believe that even though minorities have it harder, they can still become more sucessful than them.

Perhaps racist fear that if black people are given even chances they will surpass whites. Fear and insecurity really fuel racism. Also ignorance, we are all humans, no one on is inferior biologically to anyone else. Race doesn't exist in biology, genetically we are pretty much the same. So what is to blame for black race failures is our environment. People are still racist and bias, it's been proven, white priviledge, black inferiority complexes are part of a white dominated society. I believe in giving those with harder circumstances a leg up. Those who have more should be willing to give ot others, no matter what race, especially when what you have more of is taken at the expense of others.

Why do People Complain about Tyler Perry Movies?

I mean he is doing the best he can in a cutthroat industry. The movie executives and CEO's of the big production companies are mostly greedy Jews, and will only finance movies they think will make money. It seems sad to me that despite being a group of people that experienced discrimination and racism that they are unwilling to help out other groups of people who are also discriminated against. Sadly it seems they discriminate just as much in their movies, seeming to stick to hiring their own for movies and production and giving each other positions and gigs.

Anyway, apparently the general public which is white folks, only like movies with black people in them when they are Big Fat cross dressing Mammy's. Black people have moved up the respect ladder from the old movies with white people in black face, and then black people only being maids to kick butt modernized super-Mammy's. Also, many white people enjoy seeing black characters for comic relief as a sort of court jester. Now we've moved up to entertaining white folks by being ghetto gangsters or poor abused and in need of the white savior like in movies Precious and The Blind Side. Look at Disney, we went from being represented as animals in the Lion King to actually being featured in a movie in the Princess and the Pea!

So how can Tyler Perry make movies with successful, healthy, and stable black characters when the general white public doesn't want to pay to go see those movies? They make up the majority in the country so a movie can't bring in the bucks unless it appeals to the majority of the public which is white people.

So I'd like to say that it is self defeating for black people to complain about Tyler Perry Movies because he is the only one doing movies about black people and actually hiring black people especially black females. Don't dream of getting a role in a regular movie if you aren't a half white one btw. If it wasn't for him, half of the black actors would be out of work besides Will Smith and Densel Washington, two black actors which have managed to win over white the white public.

Self-Defeating Republicans

I sit here and listen to people here and elsewhere defend tax cuts on the rich greedy CEO's and Corporations as if they take what money they aren't paying in taxes and give it to you poor peasants. The only thing that will trickle down to you is the spit coming from their laughing mouths and ball sweat while they tea bag you. Oh yeah, also the toxic waste some of their companies pour into your neighborhoods and food sources. All the while they are laughing at your stupidity while you claim they provide you with jobs of building their yachts, cleaning their toilets, and mowing their lawns. Oh wait they are hiring Mexicans to do that for $10 a day so you don't even benefit from that. Of course they scapegoat the Mexicans claiming that they are the ones stealing your jobs when if the mexicans here didn't do them, they'd just ship their company jobs overseas to India and China. All the while using that money you paid them from buying their products to fly fuel guzzling jets to lavish landscapes and vacations. All the while you sit there campaigning for them to pay you even less.

You are doing their bidding while they sit back and enjoy the sweet life of stepping all over you to make more and more money and electing officials that will create loopholes for them to dance through to avoid the law and being responsible for their actions. The Big insurance companies love Republicans because with them they can deny you coverage when you get too sick and watch you die of health problems and loss of coverage after you are fired from your job for 'unknown' reasons. How does it feel to be sabotaging your own self interest?
